The Community Value: Our data center projects facilitate and fund upgrades and expansion of regional utility grids, accelerating infrastructure modernization without placing the financial burden on residents.
Our Protection Pledge: DC BLOX commits to fully funding 100% of the power infrastructure and utility upgrades required to serve our data centers.
The Community Value: DC BLOX understands that both local water supplies and natural water resources are priceless. We take a thoughtful approach to water use and management, weighing localized conditions, efficient resource management, and the community’s needs as part of each facility’s design choices.
Our Protection Pledge: DC BLOX works closely with local water utilities to protect supplies for the community. We select the cooling method that delivers the most efficient use of resources for each site, including closed loop, waterless, and other eco-friendly designs. The focus is always to arrive at the most ecologically friendly cooling solution in order to conserve water and minimize impacts on the surrounding environment.
The Community Value: We design our sites to fit into the surrounding environment, enabling local economic growth to quietly exist alongside residential life.
Our Protection Pledge: DC BLOX commits to meet or exceed all local zoning requirements for noise-level thresholds at the facility’s property line, validating these caps through a comprehensive, third-party-conducted sound study. We will verify ongoing compliance through mandatory re-testing at regular intervals.
The Community Value: We invest in cleaner, high-efficiency power backup equipment to safeguard local air quality for nearby neighborhoods.
Our Protection Pledge: DC BLOX strictly complies with all federal EPA and local air quality standards. We will further protect local air quality by equipping all emergency backup generators with additional exhaust treatment. We also will strictly limit routine equipment testing to pre-approved, non-disruptive time windows.
The Community Value: We maintain facility security while respecting the visual comfort, nocturnal ecosystem, and residential character of neighboring areas.
Our Protection Pledge: DC BLOX will enforce a strict site-wide lighting protocol that exclusively uses shielded downlight fixtures for all security, architectural, and operational lighting to eliminate light spillover.

This substantial revenue helps fund essential public infrastructure, including public schools, roads, first responders, and emergency services, while placing minimal demand on municipal services or residential taxpayers.

Our Protection Pledge: DC BLOX guarantees that ongoing data center operations will maintain a minimal community footprint by generating significantly less traffic and burden than what is currently allowed by right for the property zone.
The Community Value: Open dialogue builds trust, keeps communities informed, and gives residents direct insight into local development.
Our Protection Pledge: DC BLOX pledges project transparency throughout the facility’s lifecycle by maintaining a public information channel to keep the community fully informed about construction milestones and operational timelines.
