Custom Dark Fiber Routes

DC BLOX’s capability to build custom dark fiber routes with its data centers enables a one-stop solution that reduces negotiation complexities, streamlines deployment, and accelerates the realization of our customer’s business objectives.

Existing Regional Dark Fiber Network

DC BLOX has built the first high-capacity, low-latency dark fiber East-West route from Lithia Springs, GA to Myrtle Beach, SC. The route connects into Atlanta’s Internet Exchanges and passes through Augusta and Charleston to the Myrtle Beach cable landing station offering connectivity to regional and International destinations.

Metro Ring

DC BLOX is also building a dark fiber metro ring around Atlanta connecting into the ATL East and ATL West sites as well as to the East-West route. New dark fiber route options to suit specific customer needs are also available. The ring will provide significant new fiber capacity for campus tenants and will also provide a resilient connection to the DC BLOX Regional Dark Fiber Network transiting from Atlanta to its Myrtle Beach, SC Cable Landing Station, offering global connectivity options.

Subsea Cable Opportunities & Connectivity

The strategic placement of our Myrtle Beach, SC Cable Landing Station presents a prime opportunity for subsea cable landings, offering potential capacity to accommodate additional subsea cables. Leveraging our robust infrastructure, hyperscale operators can seamlessly land new subsea cables, providing a valuable gateway for enhanced global connectivity into the Southeastern US. Furthermore, our comprehensive dark fiber network extends from the cable landing station in Myrtle Beach to the bustling technology hub of Atlanta, ensuring low-latency, high-speed connectivity for data transit.

Hyperscale Data Center Locations

Our hyperscale portfolio boasts 484 planned megawatts across multiple locations throughout the Southeastern US. With over 200 acres available for campus growth, we can aid you in accelerating regional deployment of your services.
