On May 30, 2023, the Firmina Subsea Cable was pulled in from the Atlantic Ocean into the beach manhole in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where it was connected to the underground fiber cable leading to the DC BLOX Myrtle Beach Cable Landing Station.
